Conceived from a simple yet demanding desire—"to change the sound color instantly and in real-time through picking dynamics and the guitar's volume/tone controls"—the Drive X2 took over three years to perfect. Compared to the original Drive X, the X2 intentionally lowers the overall gain and softens the peak frequencies. This architectural shift transforms it from an edgy, modern drive into a warmer, more vintage-voiced "Bluesbreaker" style pedal.

The Essence of the Archive:
What makes the Drive X2 truly special is its duality. Roll back the tone, and it produces a thick, sweet clean; push the tone and max out the gain, and it delivers an aggressive, biting overdrive. XTONES has carefully archived these distinct behavioral extremes, ensuring that the pedal's highly acclaimed, musical compression and dynamic flexibility are flawlessly translated into your digital environment.

本キャプチャーの元となっているのは、大阪を拠点とする楽器店・ペダルブランドBrush eightが3年以上の歳月を費やして完成させた「Drive X2」です。
